If you are talking about the proximal/distal convoluted tubules. Then you are talking about a kidney, and in between them is the nephron loop or the Loop of Henle
These two are located in the nephron of the kidney.
Loop of Henle
- proximal tubule : • Selective reabsorption of nutrients from filtrate back into blood by active and passive transport. • Within proximal tubule, pH is controlled by secretion of hydrogen ions (H1) and reabsorption of bicarbonate ions (HCO32). - distal tubule • Selective reabsorption of nutrients from blood into nephron by active transport. Distal tubule helps regulate potassium (K1) and salt (NaCl) concentration of body fluids. • As in proximal tubule, pH is controlled by tubular secretion of hydrogen ions (H1) and reabsorption of bicarbonate ions (HCO32).
distal convoluted tubule, glomerulus, loop of henle, bowmans capsule, proximal convoluted tubule
The structures that distal tubes flow into are the collecting ducts of the kidneys. The collecting ducts are small tubes through which urine flows into the renal pelvis.
The radius is proximal to the phalanges. The phalanges are distal to the radius. The radius is proximal to the phalanges. The phalanges are distal to the radius.
Proximal convoluted tubules have brush borders or microvilli on the inner edge of the tubule. Distal convoluted tubules do not have this structure.
The distal tubule
Loop of Henle
The Proximal convoluted tubules, descending loop , ascending loop of henle and the distal convoluted tubules. Though the collecting ducts determine the final concentration of urine, an author states that it's not a part of the nephron.
The distal convoluted tubule or the collecting tube.
the three main portions of the renal tubule are the proximal convoluted tubule, the loop of henle, and the distal convoluted tubule. the proximal convoluted tubule is the first portion. The proximal (convulated) tubule.

glomerulus, Bowman's capsule, proximal and distal tubules, and the loop of Henle are all part of what?
Tubular secretion occurs in the distal convoluted tubes. The secretion also happens in the collecting ducts and also in the proximal convoluted tubule.
