Who makes definity
Definity are made by Cooper Tire and Rubber of Ohio. They have an excellent reputation.
They are made in Findlay, Ohio by Cooper Tire
I was told by Pep Boys that the tires are made by Cooper. Recently, I had a blow-out in a rural area about 200 miles from home, and Pep Boys was the first place I found. Since the tread was low on all 4 tires, I reluctantly replaced them with a set of Definity Dakota HT. After about 1,000 miles, I am very happy with them. Quiet, smooth, and good traction when wet.
The purpose of definity can vary depending on what the context of the situation in which it is being used. The main and most common purpose of definity is to define something, like with lights.
There are multiple companies that manufacture tires with model number P235 70R16. These include: BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, Continental, Cooper, Definity, Falken, Firestone, Futura, and Goodyear, to name a few.
I personally recommend Michelin LTX M/S, but they are proud of their tires and the price proves that. A similar tire would be a Definity tire from Pep-Boys if you have one of those close to you. That is their line that they directly compete with Michelin on. That is what I have on my truck now and they seem to be holding up very well... Not like the $200 Bridgestone Alenza tires that I put on... Those were crap! If money isn't an object, then go for the Michelin tires... I believe the Pep Boy Definity is just as good and not as expensive...
