I think you are reffering to either comets or asteroids which are found or originate from very specific areas in space. The asteroid that we know about originate from the asteroid belt between mars and Jupitar, they are reminates of a planet that didnt have enought gravity to produce a planet and there are many objects in this region of space. Comets on the other hand, originate for farther out in space from the Oort cloud or the Kuiper belt which are beyond Neptune where it is very cold and they are mostly icey bodies. A meteorite is a small particle of debris that doesnt burn up in the earths atmosphere and hits the ground, a meteor is just a streak of light in the sky as the particle burn up and a meteor shower is when earths orbit passes through the debris left by the tail of a comet, that is why they happen at certain times of year and seem to originate from the same area of the sky.
Meteorites are never found in space. They are meteoroids that have made it to Earth intact. Meteoroids are all over space, every day and night they enter the earths atmosphere in Meteor showers or as Shooting Stars. Most are the size of a grain or sand to a football and never make it to the Surface.

Diamonds and facet grade peridot have both been found in meteorites. Nickel-iron meteorites are also now being fashioned into jewelry items.
Meteorites are chunks of space rock that fell on earth. They are pieces of rock that can be found on the Earth surface but come from outer space. Asteroids are rocks that travel thru open space, meaning they are pieces of other planets or just boulders flying around in space. If an asteroid (small one) hits earth and is then found by someone then it is an meteorite. A comet is a boulder made of mostly ice that travels thru space at hi speeds and has a defined hyperbola around a star. So Rocks form space on earth are meteorites rocks in space flying around are asteroids and ice traveling realy fast (as a boulder) around a star is a comet.

No such thing has ever been found to exist. No fossils have been proven to have been found in meteorites. Some scientists claim that they have found tiny fossils in meteorites from Mars but they can not prove the formations in the rocks aren't naturally occurring.
Meteorites are material from outer space that have landed on the surface of a planet.
YES. Many of the meteorites in space are made up of ice.

The meteorites come from space. They are destroyed in mesosphere.
space lol
Meteoroids are the tiny particles found in space. Meteorites are made of heavy metals two of them are iron and nickel.
mines no. space, meteorites
nothing
The magnesium silicate found in meteorites is called "Enstatite" from mark.1962@ntlworld.com
Meteorites are an excellent way for people to gain access to materials from space without having to go to space. They are important for unique research opportunities.
