Corn, Canola, Soy Bean, Beet Root, Potato, and Melon are the main crops grown in Chile.
Chile grows a wide variety of crops. Some of the major crops include grapes, apples, pears, onions, wheat, corn, peaches, and asparagus.

I believe where most of the crops in West Africa is grown are a part of Nigeria, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
The most commonly grown crops in Russia are grains.
Open field crops are grown in fields outdoors on a farm, and most likely are treated with fertilizer and pesticides, unless it's an organic farm. Greenhouse crops are grown in a greenhouse building, and most likely are grown without fertilizers and pesticides. Greenhouse crops can also be grown at any season if the greenhouse is heated and lit properly.
There are several types of crops that are grown in the Chena cultivation. Some of the crops that are grown are vegetables, grains, legumes, and oil crops.
No crops are grown in lakes, Great Lakes or otherwise. Lots of crops are grown near lakes, however.
No crops are grown in the tiaga or boreal forest. The soil is too thin in that area for any crops to be grown.
It is winter in the United States and Europe during Chile's most productive season.
