most people are a lot open minded when there high it gives them the ability to come down and see things a different aspects of situation
I think it is hard for most people to be open minded because of cultural barriers, religious barriers, language and lack of education and also reference points on various issues of day to day life such as family imposed, society imposed, faiths imposed and some of our lives' experiences highlights some of these beliefs.

Any nations we would come across, we would either try to enslave, or keep away from. If the world had no Open-minded people, we most likely would not advance technologically or socially.
