There are several deserts in the world and are scattered all over the globe. Most people don't realize how numerous deserts really are. One fairly well known desert is the Arabian Desert which stretches from Iraq to Eastern Egypt. Another very well known desert, and also the world's largest hot desert, is the Sahara Desert. There can even be deserts found in Arctic regions, such as the Antarctic desert which is the largest Arctic desert in the entire world.
