Spring Break times vary significantly across the World. In the United States and Canada most schools have a week off in March. Though some schools may have a break as early as the last week of February or as late as mid April. The timing of the break is related to the type of schedule the school is on. Most colleges and Universities are on a semester system, so Spring Break falls in the middle of the Spring semester. Some colleges and universities as well as many elementary and high schools are on quarters or trimesters, so Spring Break takes place between the quarters or trimesters instead.
