Screwed into the exhaust pipes
No it is not possible. All vehicles in U.S.A. 95 and newer are required to have On Board Diagnostics generation II which is the monitoring system for the emissions on your car, which includes Oxygen (O2) sensors as well as a host of other engine controls and sensors.
Which sensors....theres a lot of them
All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system at various points.
The only o2 sensors are on the passenger side on this year Ram.The only o2 sensors are on the passenger side on this year Ram.
The oxygen sensor for a 1996 Infiniti I30 has 3 wires. The car actually has two O2 sensors, a front and a rear. Both sensors are the three-wire type.
before and after the cat converter
There are four o2 sensors on a 1996 Chevy blazer all on the exhaust, of course, there are three ahead of the convertors and one between the convertor and muffler. on the right hand bank. should be changed every 60,000 miles.
They can be cleared, but will return if not repaired.
your o2 sensors are located before and after your catallytic convertors
4 sensors 2 on each side right before cat and after cat
Mine has 4 O2 sensors, one before, and one after the CAT on each bank. (just a FYI, I was getting an O2 lean error caused by the short flex pipe just after the Y leaking)
1985 to 1995 have 1 1996 on up have 2
