People come from all over the world to the u.s. for unprecedented surgeries and doctors. Yes, we have some of the most expensive healthcare and doctors, but nevertheless, we have the best patient turnout in all the world. Its known as "Brain Drain" a lot of med students who took advantage of less expensive education in socialist countries come to the U.S (a capitalist country) to start there own practices and utilize the advantages of our economic system.
The above answer isn't particularly true. At the end of the day, America may have great doctors but no one can afford them and the general surgeons which do operate on the masses are significantly less qualified than the specialists which operate on the rich. That's why the US is consistently low in the ranks when it's compared to European Healthcare, which may be part socialised but that's why we can afford them.

∙ 12y agowould like to know the best eye doctor have a daughter who is losing her eyesight and she has been to numerous of eye doctors and they can not diagnose her problem or the reason why the best they have come up with is old people decease muscular degeneration something along that line she does have multiple scleroses but that has been ruled by her neurologist would appreciate any help or advise to what to do next
she is 41 she has been having trouble with her eyes going on for about 6yrs
