the relay for both pumps is located underneath the passenger glovebox with the fusebox
You should not bypass the relay. Repair the problem.
under the drivers seat in front of the ECU
The electric fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank and is energised by the ECM via the fuel pump relay in the relay modul and the fuel cut-off switch.
The fuel pump is an integrated assembly (fuel pump+sending unit) located inside the gas tank. By the way, the 2000 Land Rover Discovery also has a fuel pump relay. This particular relay is a common problem in Land Rovers, and normally goes bad much sooner than the fuel pump. So in case you have not checked it out, it might be worth considering the fuel pump relay (which usually costs less than $20) before replacing the fuel pump assembly (labor-intensive, and expensive - usually around $400 for a brand new, OEM unit). The fuel pump relay is a small square-shaped part, yellow in color, with 4 terminals.
A 2005 PT Cruiser does have a fuel pump relay. They have a fuel pump relay rather than a fuel pump switch. The fuel pump relay is located in the fuse box.
Dont know and if you are tryimg to fix it buy a new car you cheapskate
The main relay and the fuel pump relay are the same. Take the fuel pump relay and swap it with the main relay and see if that will help you....
the relay is in the abs pump
The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank on a Range Rover. You will have to remove the whole fuel tank to get to the fuel pump.
If the relay is bad, then the fuel pump will not work.
