Assuming the stereo worked previously, check the fuse on the main panel (fuse number varies with vehicle model). If the panel fuse is okay then check any inline fuses in the stereo wiring loom or on the the stereo itself. - SD
The fuse box is inside the drivers door on the side of the dashboard. There is a diagram of the fuse box on the inside of the cover. The fuse for the stereo is fuse 42 on the diagram 3rd fuse up on the left side of the fuse box.

The fuse for the stereo in a 2003 Nissan Pathfinder is in the fuse box under the dash on the driver's side. There are two fuses here for Audio, one in each of the last two columns.
Most automotive stereos have two fuses. There is an in-line fuse on the back of the stereo. Take hold of the fuse container, push both Ann's towards the middle and turn. The container will come open. Remove the fuse and replace it with a new fuse.
The fan fuses are located besides cooling reservoir
It is the same fuses (2) as the stereo and Engine computer.

In the car owners manual is the location of fuses and relays and what circuits they are associated with.
Check the other fuses. Mine did the same thing and it was the Horn fuse that had blown. The bass power is on a separate circuit.
