The 1994 Astro Van fusible ignition links can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box can be found in the engine compartment, on the drivers side.
They are located on the wires going to the starter, if you can see the starter, you can see the links hey the fusible links are actually located on the fire wall right behind the battery
If the fusible link itself comes apart, it's faulty and needs replacing, preferably with a new fusible link of the same size. Fusible links are a kind of permanent fuse, so it needs to be there and it needs to be the right one. If a new one cannot be obtained from an auto parts store, a Dodge dealer should have it. Install the new one as per its directions.
check fusible links under hood dodge loves them most are located close to battery
its part of the ecu
If you have a copy of your owners manual for your 1992 Dodge Ram van, you can find all sorts of diagrams for the vehicle in it. If you no longer have a copy, you can contact Dodge and they could send you a new one.
no the body style is different the windshield for the truck is dw796gbn and the one for the van is dw760gbn
There are some fusible links located under the hood near the engine control module on the center of the firewall. Check both sides of them with a test light (with the key on) and you will probably find one that's bad. Replace it with a new one and you should be fine. Hope that helped! Mark
If it was behind the same kind of engine it probably will.
