Yes, there is a diagram of the rear brake shoes of the 1999 Saturn SC1. It is found in the cars maintenance or repair manual.
You can cutoff the rear brake line. You will no longer have rear brakes and the fluid will leak out. It is not recommended that can't off the rear brake line, without replacing it.
1998 GM Saturn (all models) have rear brake shoes
i was wondering how to change rear brake drums for 1999 Chevy venture
Yes there is.
the valve on the rear brake line is to limit brake force on the rear ie.loaded full pressure, empty reduced pressure to stop the rear brakes locking.
The brake line will have a retaining nut on each end of the line. Loosen the retaining nuts. Reverse the process to install the new brake line.
There is no safe way to repair a broken or leaking brake line. The line or tubing that is leaking must be replaced or a new piece of tube, spliced into the line with fittings, to replace the leaking area.
yes
Are you asking how to??
6 and a halfs
The rear calipers have not to much difficult than the front. -Remove the brake line being sure not to loose the bolt and washers. Be sure to have a bucket to catch the brake fluid. -Remove the parking brake line. Do this by pushing the tabs (two of them) in and pushing the line back through the bracket. -Remove the caliper pins. -Remove the caliper Installation is the reverse. Be sure to bleed ALL the brakes after the new caliper is in. Start in the passenger side rear, driver side rear, passenger side front, and then finally the driverside front.
