Draught of the Dead

1. Enter the cellar of the Haunted House. (Startle the bat, climb to the roof and grab the key)
2. Pass the Spiders, and fix the pipes so they connect the heater to the boiler, causing steam to rise
3. Jump into the steam, which lifts you to the shelf.

Ice Pick & Ice

1. Go upstairs from the cellar, go left, and open the freezer.
2. Climb the stairs and find the second suit or armor, which has an axe.
3. Jump on its head to get the axe.
4. Use the axe to chop ice from the freezer.

Lantern

1. Go the bedroom on the second floor (left) and answer the ringing phone.
2. Go to the fireplace and click on the clocks.
3. The clocks need to strike midnight at EXACTLY the same time. To make a clock go faster, put your mouse cursor over it. By speeding up one clock or both, get the hands to arrive at 12 o'clock at the same time (not usually easy), so the skulls pop up together.
4. Once you have completed this task, a lantern will appear in the fireplace. Pick it up.

Chalice

1. The last task. Across from the bedroom is a dining room. Go in. An arrow will fly above your head. It has a note that says "Fly to find the Chalice." Click on the spider on the floor, and it dangles down by the witch painting. The witch drops her broom. It will fly you around if you climb onto it. Use it to reach the attic and go left until you reach the locked chest.
2. The lock is a puzzle in the shape of a skull. When it moves, reverse the moves to open the lock.
3. The pattern is : Move column C one square up, column B one square down, column A one square up. Then move row 3 one square to the left, row 2 one square to the right, and row 1 one square to the left. (Reset if you fail.)
4. The goblet will come out.

Lighting the lantern

Go back to the cellar and go to the left side where there is a barrel of kerosene to fuel the lantern.

Ending the Quest

Go back upstairs and go to the right. There is a ghost cat, and if you click him, he will say "Go to where the Cherub cries." Cherub is a word for angel. Go to the graveyard and find the hole next to the Crying Girl statue. The ghouls are waiting for you to deliver the treasures.

The four treasures are the Draught (potion), the Ice, the Chalice, and the Lantern. You will also use items such as the house key, the flying broom, and the pickaxe.

Key : Pass the tombstones and go to the house. (you can read the tombstones first if you want to, but they don't do anything.) When you are at the door to the basement at far right, you'll see a bat flying around with a key. Go to the top of the roof and jump up at the bat and you'll catch the key. Unlock the one lock and go in the door.

Draught : There's a furnace and a boiler in the basement. There are pipes in between them, and you need to arrange them so that the pipes connect them together. When the pipes are connected, the boiler will let steam out. Ride the steam up to the shelf and you'll see a magenta bottle, which is the Draught.

Ice : Go up to the first floor, which includes the kitchen. Open the refrigerator. Now go up the the second floor hall where the suits of armor are. Go to the knight on the right and jump on its head, and it will drop its ax. Grab it and go downstairs to chop out some ice from the freezer.

Broom : To get the broom, go to the 3rd floor, to the right, and you'll see a spider on the floor. Press it and it will go down to the haunted witch painting. The witch will drop her broom. Go down to it and you can fly around on it.

Chalice : Use the broom to fly through the 3rd floor room to the attic. On the far left you will find a chest. To unlock the combination you have to rearrange the skull.

Move the columns (ABC) and rows (123) as follows : Column A up, Column B down, Column C up. Then Row 1 left, row 2 right, and row 3 left.

When the chest is open the chalice will fly up.

Lantern : Go to the 3rd floor bedroom where the phone is. The message says that both clocks on the mantle have to strike midnight (straight up 12) at the same time. Put the mouse over either clock to speed it up. They must hit midnight (both skulls pop up) at exactly the same time. This is difficult but not impossible. When they do, the lantern will appear in the fireplace. It won't be lit, so go down to the basement and go to the kerosene barrel under the stairs.

Now you have all four treasures and you can go talk to the ghost cat (first floor right). The place you want to go is the crying angel in the graveyard. Go down the hole and you will complete the quest.
