I know my Jeep GC has "coil on plug" ignition, so there aren't traditional spark plug wires, just low voltage.
check the spark plug wires and the distributor cap wires
The spark plug gap for the 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L (318CID V8 is .035".
You should have C.O.P. ( coil on plug) there are no wires.
with a spark plug #5224 the gap setting is .040
The manufacturer's recommended spark plug gap is .040".
at the end of the plug wires in the head
.035
Spark plug wires, spark plug boot, or coil on plug.
My bet it is the spark plug wires or spark plugs or rotor cap if it has one. If the wires are going bad, they are worse "under load" (while driving).
There is no spark plug wires on the 2.4L twin cam engine, the spark plugs are located right underneath the top cover on the head
No. The spark plugs are all in line (assuming you've got a v6). There are a few bolts to the left of the block, take them out, disconnect the electrical harness and pull.
