They vary from car to car, but generally about 45 degrees behind you on either side. If you want to know exactly where yours are; have a fried stand behind and off to the side of the car as if they were a vehicle in a lane next to you. make sure they are in a location where you can see them in the side rearview mirror. Next have them walk forward toward you as if they are in that "lane". Where you lose sight of them in the rear view, until you see them out your window is your blind spot.
