Lets get past the mean spirited answer and give you an actual answer. Beaver live primarily in mountainous areas all over the upper northeast, Colorado, Wyoming, and some even live in the lower states. They can be found near running water because they like to build dams and create beaver ponds. I'm sure many states can calim a beaver population. In the late 1800's they wer almost hunted to extinction for their pelts but have recovered nicely.
