They could... theoretically, at least, but it would be a waste of time and money. For one, the nearest black hole is 1600 light years away, and there is no technology that would allow us to get the satellite to the black hole within a reasonable time frame. Secondly, by putting a satellite through a black hole, you would only be destroying it.

Sending a satellite into a black hole would not be possible due to the intense gravitational forces pulling everything towards it, resulting in the destruction of the satellite before it even reaches the black hole's event horizon. Additionally, the extreme conditions within a black hole would make it impossible for any technology to function or transmit data back to us.
