i saw on a website that you can buy one for two dollars, not sure if that's true or not
It isn't worth much at all. Zimbabwe went through a period of hyperinflation to where it would take trillions of dollars simply to buy a dozen eggs. As such, their banknotes are mostly worthless and are traded just for laughs or as a sober reminder that all fiat currencies eventually collapse. Its worth a dollar or two at most if in perfect shape, and thats simply as a curiosity.
There are many sites that give values. You can also go to a bookstore and buy a copy of a magazine such as Coin Prices or Banknote Reporter. Two sites that I use a lot are http://www.uscurrencyauctions.com/prices http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml
Due to excessive supply of money. The monetary authority of Zimbabwe irresponsibly borrowed more money to pay its debts. When a country imprints more money or have excess to huge supply of money more than its economic capability it heads to hyperinflation. So, everything becomes expensive or less a money can buy.
NO that is not true.. I tried it...
