LG Cinema 3D got #1 in a consumer research. Personally, I also think LG Cinema 3D is better than Samsung's any other 3D TVs. Samsung's 3D TVs are active TVs and they use shutter system while LG Cinema 3D is a passive tv withbetter FPS technology. Basically you never have to worry about flickering images and crosstalk with a passive 2D TV. Not only is LG Cinema 3D a flicker free and crosstalk free TV, it also has lightweight and battery free 3D glasses. These 3D glasses are very affordable compared to Samsung's. If you're gonna buy a 3D TV, you might as well buy the one that's flicker free and crosstalk free.
I think that the best deal you can get on a 3D LED TV would be at Amazon.com. You can get a Samsung UN46d7000 46inch 1080p 240hz 3D LED HDTV for just $950.00 that is a real bargain compared to a lot of places.
The Samsung 51" plasma 1080p 600hz 3d hdtv has the most stars at Best Buy. Is about $1000. This is the TV I would recommend the most. Samsung is a good brand that has been around a long time.

All Samsung active LCD glasses should work with all Samsung sets.
Plasma TVs can be in 3D. Samsung and Panasonic both make Plasma 3D TVs, as seen on www.bestbuy.com. The Samsung plasma 3D TV seems to be a little less expensive than the LCD TVs.
YES samsung is making them in 2010! samsung is the best
No. there is no way you can use LG 3D glasses on Samsung 3D TV, they use different technology.
All the 8000 series samsung TVs above 42 inches in screen size are 3d ready.
Both Samsung and LG 3D TVS have 2D to 3D conversion features.
Possibly. I would take the glasses to a TV store and try them. Samsung changed their 3d sync technology last year, so it may not work.
Some places will perform a delivery and installation for an extra price. You can find the Samsung c9000 at Best Buy and you may be able to get it at a sale price.
