If you are wanting to paint the concrete walls instead of drywalling or paneling, there are special paints designed specifically for concrete. Here is some information that I am sure you will find useful: http://homeimprovement.superpages.com/painting/how-to-paint-concrete.html http://www.ehow.com/how_172562_paint-concrete.html
You can't paint your walls. You need to buy wallpaper from the YoDepot.
If you do it yourself you can buy basement waterproofing paint for 50 to 100 dollars. If you have to hire someone it is a lot more. It is just like paint you just roll it on. You should be able to do it yourself if you can paint.
The paint was a terrible colour. We need to buy more paint.
You will need to first decide what you are doing to the basement. Are you adding bedrooms or a bathroom? You may need to buy special fixtures for those rooms. You will also need to decide the kind of flooring you are wanting, carpet or hardwood? You will probably want to purchase drywall so you can cover up cement walls or unfinished walls, and to create walls to go around any rooms you plan to build. You may also want some doors if you plan to have excess rooms. You will need paint, floor boards, maybe nicer lighting fixtures, and furniture to make the space feel like home.
You don't water proof the wood. The basement walls are made of concrete or concrete block - a porous material. That concrete can be sealed before you stud and cover the walls with wood. On the exterior, the dirt is dug away from the basement walls, then the areas of those walls that will be underground are first covered in a special plastic then tar is applied and the dirt is pushed back up against the foundation. The dirt should be graded away from the house so that water is directed away from the foundation and not toward it.
Well you can make it out of wood! You can also get some cardboard boxes and paint them white. Get another box to cut out walls for the dollhouse. Then paint the walls white. Next paint the walls the colour you want them. Then stick them in. When the paint is dry you can paint the floor and the walls which are the inside of the box. Then you can get some black paint and draw on doors. Finally you can make furniture out of household items or.................... u buy a doll, put it in a nut sack and let it sit down! lol
Crackle paint technique is when you make the paint on your walls look like it contains little cracks throughout the paint creating a neat style. Their is usually special paint that you can buy that when dry, will create the cracked paint look.
you need to remove all of your carpet and go to to a home building store and buy cement and just paint or pour it over the crack and shave it down so u dont get a bump and then let sit for about 1 day or more depending on the size dont get wet or touch
There are a lot of choices of paint brands you can get. The best known non-slip paint would be Epoxy or Sure Step. You can buy both of these at your local Home Depot.
The good stuff is not found at hardware stores. Try to find "Preferred" brand at a cement or masonry store.
It is glow in the dark you could buy it at walmart and it works wel!!!!
you'll have to start by sanding off the old paint. new paint wont stick to the walls if the old paint's still there. then buy some new paint at the home depot and git er done!
