follow the positive battery wire out from the battery.... you will find a boxy looking thing that is about 8inches long. this is your starter

If they are both the same engine (such as 3.3), then yes. You can check with your local auto parts store to find out if the same starter was used for different engine sizes, but most often they are different.
Bolted to the radiator support on the left side. Find the starter relay and tap it firmly ,then try again. Still no crank, manually jump across the relay to 'force' current to the starter solenoid.
