There are a few ways that this question can be answered.
If you are looking to clean the screen, a soft cloth and lens cleaner is your best bet.
If you have a buildup of dust in the gba slot, compressed air will get most of it out and a q-tip can get the rest.
If you have other gunk in there, you can try a q-tip, and if that fails, you may not be able to clean that out without tearing the system apart.
