yes,the same body lift kit will work on a 84 & 85 .same frame but the body was a little different.
With allot of cuss-words and beer!
I think the only problem you might have would be some rubbing issues in the front when turning. To help prevent this you could purchase some spacers that go on between the rim and the axle. I have 35" tires on my 85 sierra classic with a 3" body. You could purchase a body lift for cheap and is very easy to install. Then you would have nice clearance and wouldn't worry about rubbing, no need for spacers.
Yes it will , but you may have to do some drive shaft work.
He can lift about 85 tons.
4x4 will jerk when accel. especially while turning. It is alot of torque on all four wheels pulling at the same time. You should only accel slowly with 4x4 on, especially in 4x4 low.
start by slapping your head and then going outside to play.
can I put a 99 Chevy 4l60e transmission in my 86 k5 chevy blazer
what is the body being changed too?

I swapped a 85 2x4 long bed Toyota cab onto a 85 4x4 short bed Toyota frame. It bolts to the frame just fine, but there are few changes you need to make. The speedomeitor cable is longer on the 4x4. The emergency brake cable is a different lenght. You will need to make a bigger hole in the cabs transmission tunnel for the transfer case shifter. Fuel lines from the fuel tank are different lenght. That is it. While you are changing the cab use the extra rubber washers from between the cab and frame from the other cab on the 4x4. It gives you about 1 inch body lift on the cab for free. That makes a lot difference when unbolting the engine from the transmission while still in the truck. If you do to much body lift you have radiator mounting and other issues. stick to 1 inch to make it simple.
