This is very important! You want to test the display, layout, and functionality of your webpage before publishing it, to see how the end result will appear to a user. You want to test it in at least one browser, most likely the browser the users will be using. If you are not sure which browser your users will be using, test your webpage in as many as possible!

To retrieve the name and version of the web browser using JavaScirpt, you want to make use of the "navigator" object. For instance, the following code would cause an alert box to popup on the users browser, alerting the user to the browser's name. alert ("You are using: "+navigator.name); The alert would say something like "You are using: Internet Explorer" or "You are using: FireFox" The navigator object has other information available. You can find whether of not the browser accepts cookies, it's version, and it's codename. To learn more, see the related link.

It depends on which browser you are using, in my opinion. If you are using Firefox, select "History", and select "Display all history", then you will see a list of all web pages that you have browsed. Simply select those related to Google, and delete it.And if you need to delete history in this browser, select "Tools", and you will see the option that lets you protect your privacy.
