i belive that most apple stores still carry the ipad 1. however, if they dont you can probally find a refurbished ipad 1 on apple.com. sometimes refurbished machines work better than new ones because the company has tested them many times. if you are not interested in purchasing a refurbished ipad 1, (which buy the way are also much less expensive!) stores such as overstock.com, amazon.com, and radioshack should carry the model you are looking for.
