how do you know its the switch? does the window (power) move up & down? You can use the other switch from the right or left hand side of the one that works. switch the wires. if the windows work, then its the switch. if the switch doesn't work, then its the window motor.

I'm currently having the same issue and from what I've gathered over the past week online, it's one of two things. Either the window switch/connection is faulty OR the regulator. Mine happens to be the switch because the driver side switch for the passenger window works fine. Now my problem is if the passenger and driver switch mechanisms are interchangeable when purchasing?
NOTE: Anytime the battery terminal has been disconnected, please initialize the driver's door power window and front passenger's door power window after reconnecting the battery terminal. With ignition switch in the "ON" position, do the following: 1. Push down and hold the driver's door power window switch to completely open the window. 2. Pull and hold up the driver's door power window switch until the window closes. Continue holding the switch for approximately one second until the switch changes from blinking to a constant illumination. 3. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch briefly to the "DOWN" and "UP" positions. At this time the power window switch for the passenger's door window should be blinking. 4. Push down and hold the passenger's door power window switch to completely open the window. 5. Pull and hold up the passenger's door power window switch until the window closes. Continue holding the switch for approximately one second until the switch changes from blinking to a constant illumination. 6. Check for proper operation of the "one-touch open and close" function by fully pushing the switch briefly to the "DOWN" and "UP" positions
You can purchace a window from Best Buy. You can buy one from Sears. You also can buy one from Lowes. I do believe Home Depot got some. You can buy one from Alabama Power.
I'd go to a wrecker and get a replacement window switch... it'll cost you about $5 or get a new one from various places online for about $30... If your switch is the prob like mine is I had no prob rolling the passenger side window up and down using the switch but the drivers side window would roll down fine but I had to pull the switch from the door panel (took five min with a flat head screwdriver) played around with it for a bit and got it to roll back up once :( so I had a fairly good idea it was the switch and not the motor. Worth trying for the cost to get one from a wrecker.
To adjust the window on a Mercedes CLK, locate the window switch on the door panel. Press the switch up or down to raise or lower the window to your desired position. For models with a one-touch feature, pressing the switch briefly will automatically raise or lower the window completely. If the window is stuck, check for obstructions or consider resetting the window by holding the switch in the up position for a few seconds after it reaches the top.
