Many people recommend Travelocity or Hotwire simply because they put together many different packages for many different locations. They are also a good way to get discounted rooms since not every hotel is going to be fully booked so they need a way to fill them up quickly. On top of getting cheap flights and hotels, this is an excellent way to save money.
