All major home improvement stores will have information on hot water tanks. Some of these are Homedepot, Lowes,Menards and Ace Hardware. Information can also be found at websites of these stores.
One can get electric hot water tanks from The Home Depot where there are many available to purchase. One can also buy them from eBay, Lowe's and Home Hardware.
A professional plumber, or at least, someone experienced installing hot water tanks.
One of the best electric hot water heaters on the market is Reliance Lowboy and Reliance 80 gal. The are sold at Ace Hardware. There is a web site that rates hot water heaters and that is Heater.Housekool.com They list all the top rated electric and gas hot water heaters.
Not much actually,a Mobile Home water Heater has the water connections going into the side where as a Regular Water Heater has the connections at the top. So if you have enough room above a mobile home water heater you can install a regular water heater no problem. However a lot of mobile homes do not have room above the water heater so your forced to use a Mobile Home water heater instead. Which usually costs about a hundred more than a regular one.
Most tankless hot water heaters are electric. I've never heard of a propane one.
would like answer to this... The same thing happened to mine so I just bought a new one. I really don't think that anyone works on water tanks.
If it is a electric water heater, then one of the heating elements are burned out.
Your hot water tank is not working properly or someone used up all the water before you did. If one element is blown on an Electric tank and the other is working, your hot water will not last very long.
I like to install two tanks -- if one goes down you still have hot water -- when you connect two tanks -- i would run cold water to first tank into top of cold water inlet -- then come out of the hot and run it to the bottom of the next tank where your drain valve is -- just remove and install a tee and put the drain valve back in -- then come out of the top where the hot water outlet is and install a by-pass valve so if one tank leaks you can turn the bad tank off and still have hot water till you can install another tank -- i have done this many times this way -- works good if you have enough room for two 50 gal tanks
Several clues: water leaking from bottom, slow water flow, clunking noises. No hot water from an electric tank could simply be a bad heating element, most tanks have two replaceble elements that are found at hardware stores. A gas hot water tank has a burner that can wear out, or simply the relaceable thermcouple has failed, a new one can be found at hardware stores. Usually, a tank over 20 years old is due for replacement.
Start with a kitchen appliance store and look in their Kettles and Hot Pots section. Electric kettles are available and they can be used to boil water.
Well hmm hard question hmm let me look at the question again (the difference??) well one heats water and the other one heats HOT water!!! no just kidding they are the same THING! either gas or electric but the same!A "hot water heater" is actually a booster to increase the heated water to a higher temperature
In series means the hot from the first one will go to the incoming pipe of the second. -Is that what you really want ? -If you want more volume of hot water, installing in parallel makes more sense. In this, both incoming pipes are cold and the hot water output from each is joined to one hot supply pipe.
