One method of viewing CDs on a system with no CD drive access is to create data images of the CDs. These images can them be mounted from the hard disk using virtual CD-ROM software.
To view an MRI CD on your Acer laptop, first insert the CD into the laptop's optical drive. If your laptop doesn't have a built-in CD drive, you may need an external USB CD/DVD drive. Look at the front of the cd player very closely. There should be a very small hole. With the power turned off, stick a straightened paper clip in the hole to push the gears and make the drawer slide out.
