The largest deposits are in the North Sea which belong to the UK and Netherlands. Russia also has very large deposits, but I'm not sure you would include it in Europe. Germany and Denmark have offshore deposits as well. Other countries include Italy, Austria, France, Poland, Hungary, Greece and Spain.
