With the exception of North Korea, in which all religions other than Juche are banned, Islam is permitted to be practiced in all countries. Admittedly, in some, Muslims may face discrimination, especially in cases where a Non-Muslim majority country has had periodic wars with Muslim neighbors, such as the cases of Serbia, Greece, Israel, India, Thailand, and the Philippines. It should also be noted that even though it is permissible to practice Islam in over 190 of the world's countries, there are numerous countries (especially in Oceania or the Caribbean) that do not have current Muslim communities.
