you cant
Disk brakes at all four wheels. The rear disk has an area in the center where shoes for the parking brake fit. Cheers
All brakes turn kinetic energy into heat, but you should not touch disk brakes because the oil in your hands will degrade their performance
Depending on the model of Cavalier ( either sport or sedan or whatnot) it may have disk in the front and drum in the back or disk all around. Most cavaliers have disk brakes in the front and drums in the back. Mine does and so do alot of other cavaliers I've seen.
All modern mass-produced cars and light trucks DO have hydraulic brakes on the front and the rear wheels. Heavy trucks generally have air brakes on all the wheels. Maybe you are thinking of cars that have disk brakes on the front and drum brakes on the rear? On cars, these are both hydraulically operated using the same hydraulic (brake) fluid. In normal stopping situations, the front brakes do more work than the rear brakes. Maybe 70 or 80% of the braking is done by the front wheels (it depends on where the weight is in the car and how fast you stop). Disk brakes are a somewhat better brake for a car, but drum brakes are a little cheaper to manufacture. So, disk brakes are almost always used on the front wheels where the braking is more important. Drum brakes are used on the back of some cars to save money. Note that performance cars (sports cars) almost always have disk brakes on all of the wheels.
Brakes need adjusting? Pads need replacing? Caliper frozen? Low brake fluid level and need to be bled?
Disk brakes? they push in or twist in clock wise This applies to all disk brakes. If the piston is a hollow cup, it pushes in. If the surface is flat with a line across it or a hourglass or some other figure on the surface, it screws in.
wt type of brakes are they and what do you want to do to them wt type of brakes are they and what do you want to do to them exactly!!! vts have discs all round so you need to be more clear!!!
Sounds like the rear caliper or brake piston is not releasing all the way. I would replace this and the rear brakes. It has possibly warped the drum or disk depending on if you have disk brakes or drum in the rear. Good luck.
you could have worped disk brakes. or your brake pads are not level with your disk brake
All vehicles have brake pads.mine has disk brakes and the pads take about 10 minutes a piece to change.
The 110 has traction control and disc brakes all round
Yes you can! The Focus SVT model comes with rear disk brakes from the factory and the parts from it will work. There's also a kit from Ford Racing that has all the parts needed to make the conversion. It a fairly straightforward swap and can be done in an afternoon. Look on EBay, they have thousands of part for the Ford Focus, including the disk brake kit.
