99.999% of injected petrol cars are computer controlled injection. diesel is a different story though. they used to be mechanical but some more newer models are moving to computer controlled
I have now found fuel pump relay behind ashtray in centre console just a shame it was not the problem looks like the injectors are not being told to open by the ecu
It will be your ECU unit because i have had this problem on my golf driver 1.8

A person can buy a cheap Volkswagon GTI at a car dealership that offers a used one or a deal with it. Examples of a car dealership are Edmunds, Autodealer, and Koons.
The Peugeot 206 GTI can be purchased at any car dealership that offers a selection of sports cars. Also, the car can be found on Auto Trader website.
There are many places where one could buy a used Golf Mk2 GTI. Websites like Pistonhead, Gumtree and Autotrader offer this kind of car. Alternatively one could go to the local car dealer.
Most if not all 4 cylinder VAG engines will fit in a mk2 Golf. However it will be much cheaper to buy a GTI rather than convert a non-GTI model once you factor in ancillary items such as GTI-spec front brakes, rear discs, a change of wiring loom, etc.
