Beasts as in mounts or pets?? Or do you mean like if you are a hunter training a beast
Yes. You have to have the first WoW and all the expansions leading up to Cataclysm. You don't need to buy The Burning Crusade anymore because it comes with the first WoW, but you do have to buy: Wrath of the Lich King and then you can buy World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
Playing Cataclysm requires you to already have installed World of Warcraft, as well as the Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King expansion packs.
No you do not get all other expansions when you buy Cataclysm. You have to buy each and every expansion, in order, in order to upgrade Cataclysm. This means you have to buy the original game (which includes Burning Crusade), Wrath of the Lich King, and then Cataclysm.
In order to use World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, you must first buy the basic game, and update to each and every expansion that is available. You can not just jump right to Cataclysm. So, you have to buy the "Vanilla" wow (the original, which comes with the Burning Crusade expansion), Wrath of the Lich King, and then Cataclysm. You have to purchase ALL expansions.
Yes; it is the same cost as for any version of World of Warcraft. You will need to buy the original game and all 3 of the other expansion packs before you can use Cataclysm though. The monthly price is 14.95, but you can get a dollar or two price break if you buy 6 or 12 months at a time.
When you buy the classic World of Warcraft game, you will receive one month of free playtime with it. Expansion packs (The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm) do not come with any additional playtime.
Normally you don't need to buy any games to play it's sequal.
Yes. But, if you want to play cataclysm for example, you would have to buy ALL the other expansions.
You need to go into your computer and delete any files pertaining to WoW. Then go out and buy Rift, install it and your problem is solved
Yes, you need not only the regular World of Warcraft game, you need the two other expansions in order to play Cataclysm. This is because if you level to level 60 then you will need to level to level 70 (Burning Crusade Expansion) if you want to continue leveling. Then you will need to level to level 80 (Wrath of the Lich King) and then finally level 85 (Cataclysm). You do not have to level to 85 but most people who buy the expansion do. You will need: World of Warcraft (original/regular game) The Burning Crusade (now included for free in the basic version of the game) Wrath of the Lich King
You will be able to buy it from the Blizzard store as a digital download. You will also be able to buy it from a regular store. Note: When you do the digital download, you will probably not get anything extra like guest passes for friends, or a paper manual.
There is only one World of Warcraft game. It has a few expansions though. You should start out with the vanilla (the original game) wow, and decide if you like it. Then you can add each expansion in order, Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and finally Cataclysm. You need to add each in order though, as each gives you access to new levels and content. If you want to play cataclysm content, then you need to first upgrade your account to Burning Crusade and then upgrade to Wrath of the Lich King, and finally Cataclysm.
