I suggest you to go to an airsoftsmith. Every airsoft community have their own trusted airsoftsmith. Find information from your friends or media about the nearest airsoftsmith available. Why? They have more experience , better tools, better links (know where to find tools, accs, sparepart, etc). Find information from the internet, airsoft magazines, or your airsoft community about the design you want (interior and/or exterior) then discuss it with your airsoftsmith. You can discuss them also about your budget. I'm very sure they can do a lot of help. IMO it's Ok to design your airsoft gun on your own, but it definitely WILL take more cost, more efforts, losing your time and your money. I hope this answer can help.
