Just Get the undead patch, then get steam, make an account, open up the undead patch, and click enter, y, then enter again, then you have every windows game!
INCLUDING GMOD!,
it might take a while to download, you cant go online. But you can play offline and enjoy sandbox physics!
Or if you wanna play Online, then just buy gmod :)

1. Get Garrys Mod 9.
witch is the free version of Gmod.
" Garry's Mod 9 requires that the following are all installed
and have been run recently.
* Half-Life 2
* Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
* Counter-Strike: Source "
Please note that this version is very limited and outdated, (it's not being updated
any longer). but you do have the
option of a multiplayer gameplay. You will find a number of public servers hosting
the game (Using Setti Masterservers: css.setti.info ).
And the game also has supporting community( facewan.com )

2. Get Garry's Mod 10.
Witch is the continuously updated version of Gmod with hundreds of server
and communities.
I recommend buying it, since it only costs 10 USD.
Or You can download it from Torrent sites, such as the piratebay, just search Gmod
10 or Garry's mod 10 and follow the instructions in the description. Though, many of these do not allow online play or add ons. Which are the whole point. So I suggest buying it on steam. The only downside is that to make it work you must have another source game such as Half-Life or Team Fortress 2, so the cost goes up by 15$ about.
