Paint.net is available from the Get Paint web site (See links below) but it only works with Windows there is no Mac version.
It is not the program that could potentially be harmful, it is the website, I have downloaded paintNET virus free.
Download it from a safe website.
Just download it from cnet downloads;its free
to download paint.net you need to go to the website, click get paint.net now, then just save it then install it
go to http://www.getpaint.net/download.html , scroll down a bit until you see "download now dotpdn". press that and follow the instructions :)
You can't. Paintnet doesn't support pressure sensitivity. It used to, but it got removed.
No, but you can get an alternate program called Pinta or you can get Gimp.
yes
CTRL + Magic Wand (Low Tolerance)
There are several ways, you can for example duplicate the layer, blur it and change its color. Or you can just add colored shadow.
They both seem very similar. I don't think it'd matter which one you get. Personally, I preffer GIMP due to the ease of use.
Though Paint.NET supports the following file formats: PNG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, TGA, DDS, and TIFF, the native Paint.NET image type is PDN (which preserves layering).A PDN file is not compatible with Windows Movie Maker. You will have to convert the PaintNET image to a format compatible with the program if you want to use it:.bmp, .dib, .emf, .gif, .jfif, .jpe, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .tif, .tiff, .wmf
