Speak to her. Go to Shellton's Inn. Speak to Chickletti. You will then receive a scrap of paper. Speak to Chickletti again. Buy the Code book for a dollar as well. So now you have a clue, somewhere in Jungle Isle. Return to Mrs. Beesdale. Go back to Chickletti and Blinky for more clues. Now, head over to Jungle Isle (be sure to bring a telescope as well). Head to where the image is. Then make sure you use your search tool and it shows : You find the letters A E Y C I K O carved into a tree trunk. You found a mysterious clue! Then dig and talk to Captain Spaldeen. Return to Mrs. Beesdale once you have spoken to him.
