All colleges have different timelines for when SAT scores are due. Go to a particular school's website and under admission, you can find out their specific timeline.

SAT scores are used by universities to gauge the viability of potential applicants. For 2013, the average SAT score was a 1498.
Multiply your selection index (which is your total score) by 10 to find your predicted SAT score. If you want to find your predicited score for the "old" SAT, just add the scores from your Math and Critical reading sections together and multiply that number by ten.
You can request SAT Scores to be sent to colleges using the CollegeBoard website. Your SAT Scores will also be stored by CollegeBoard on their website and can be accessed on demand.
You don't have to enter SAT scores on a collegeapplication, but for almost every college, you DO need to have college board send them your scores directly.
