There is no Ps3 emulator, its not possible at the moment.

PS2 is still in a Beta state of development and the PS3 will require much more labor and development time.

Fact emulation will never work as simple and trouble free as the original product was able to play the games. Different titles will never be able to be played without some of the titles requiring fine tuning.

The answers below are not answers to the question when they do not tell where someone can find a PS3 emulation.

Even Ps2 emulation is at working state, and it requires the best computer out there to run games at good speeds. Still every title is not playable and there definition of playable is that the game can be completed even if it takes time and effort If a Ps3 emulator could be made, it will require at least as long to develop as the PCSX2 has needed to be refined. The computer requirements will catch up as the product is developed, but the day has not arrived

You would be quite amazed at what PcSX2 coders think about the idea.

I would have to point a few of them:

PCSX2 are the people who have been working over 10 years on the PS2 emulation program that is still in beta format

1) There is not much information about the PS3 architecture, and how it works.

2) In Emulation, the hardware requirements for a PC to emulate a console is a rough estimate of 10x.

E.g. PSX has a tiny 33mhz cpu, and it requires a minimum of 400mhz to "run" psx games. Some games will still be slow, and you need more requirements if you need good graphics.

3) PS3's Cell processor is a beast.

CPU: Cell Processor

  • PowerPC-base Core @3.2GHz
  • 1 VMX vector unit per core
  • 512KB L2 cache
  • 7 x SPE @3.2GHz
  • 7 x 128b 128 SIMD GPRs
  • 7 x 256KB SRAM for SPE

That's 7 x 3.2 GHz SPE alone..

And Cell has more than that.

So, according to the rough guess, you will need something like 7 x 40 GHz, and XDR Ram, and GPU capable of 18 TFLOPS @ 550 MHz, to emulate PS3

4) Think about the coders. Who will want to try such a nearly impossible task, especially when there isn't much info about the hardware?

Answer: You can't because there isn't one at the moment.

Correction all that's left is for someone to "translate" from ps3 code to pc we'll still need powerful pc's remember people If you look at all the psp emulators that work when people predicted we would need powerhouse pc's to emulate it. I have come across a few people that are working on ps3 and Xbox 360 the 360 project was scrapped and left to die while work continues on ps3. So with any luck we'll have new coding some time next year it'll be a while before anyone can play commercial games but our intention is to run it through java. Try making your own emulator before claiming it's impossible. Weeks of coding and I've achieved 2fps on disgaea universe so time will tell. If we finish the project it will be posted here.

All that's left is for the thing to be written tested developed and have the bugs worked out. PSP is an easy system like the PS1. PC's are powerhouses compared to what was around a decade ago

Answer

This is not really an answer, more like I wish we could because I thing they should

I know They should develop a pc operation system for pxs 3 and be able to operate with all motherboard functions and extras like sound cards and video cards and usb ports (so you can hook up a controller). there's no way the pxs 3 needs all that computer power bye itself. All the microchips on its board are all in one. Think about it! I love to see that we could install a game system on our pc like we can install windows operating systems. What you people think?

Where to download dbz ultimate tenkaichi for PC?

That would require either a Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 emulator, but keep in mind that such an emulator is hard to find and would require a really extreme computer, because even if you had hardware better then an Xbox or Playstation, an emulator takes much much more power. Assuming you could handle it then you should install one and find a "rom" for the game you want to the console that your emulator is based on.
