I suggest going to your nearest large local bank, such as Bank of America, Chase or Citibank.
I do not know of any service that charges nothing for exchanging currency. It would be hard for such an organization to "make a living" for sure. Even national and multinational banks employ an exchange rate that will make them some money. Almost always, there is a cost for a desired service. I think the best thing is to always do your homework; try to find the most favorable exchange rate by your own research. A gambling casino might be your best bet, no pun intended. Any casino near any international border would be prepared and happy to exchange currency. And they always make money from the gamblers by way of their house advantage, so they might be willing to give you a very reasonable exchange rate. Change your currency at a casino, then turn around and walk out the door.
money is anything which is accepted as a medium of exchange. E. g. Hard cash say Rs 100 note. Near money is not money but very near to money say Bill of exchange, Deposit certificate.
Thomas Exchange sells Argentina Pesos at much better rates than the Post Office, M&S etc (and also exchanges to Sterling). They have an office near Oxford Circus Tube Station. You can get US dollars for Ghana money at a money exchange store which can be found at the borders or maybe near you.
Im sorry to tell you this but there are no currency exchanges in Augusta the nearest one is at Hearts-field Jackson international airport in Atlanta on the first floor in the departures area. Take that money to exchange it next time you plan to visit Atlanta for spending cash.
It depends, some businesses will accept US currency, some won't. More businesses will accept US currency in cities on or near the border. If they accept US currency, you will be subject to their exchange rate. Also, obviously you can use your debit/credit cards and your currency will be converted for the transaction (subject to the bank's exchange rate). Overall, if you have the time, you're better off waiting for a day that has a better than average exchange rate and exchanging whatever money you plan on spending. Even though it may be convenient, the exchange rate that businesses will offer are not going to be as good as what you could find at a proper currency exchange or bank.
Certain banks near the US Mexican border will exchange Mexican currency for US dollars.

If you are referring to a foreign exchange booth in a country, these are typically located near banks or near major tourist destinations, such as airport, major malls, near a border town bordering another country, etc.
There are two places in Charlotte Douglas International airport for currency exchange. One is located in concourse D and one is located in the main atrium near the ticketing counters.
Greece's monetary unit is the Euro. No other currency is accepted and it is best to exchange dollars or other currency at a bank. The exchange rates are all the same throughout the country and you exchange money at a bank or official exchange shop where you will get the best running rates. I have noticed that the rates at the airport seem to favor the bank, so I usually just exchange enough money for a couple of days until I get to a bank. Banks are open from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. At the new airport near the luggage pickup you can find machines that can exchange foreign currency and return Euro. Very nice indeed since you need the Euro for a luggage cart.It goes without saying that if you come from any European Union country you would not have to worry about exchanging any money since the Euro is the common currency of the European Union (but you already knew this, right?)

The official currency of Canada is the Canadian Dollar, although the US Dollar does circulate somewhat (usually at a discount to its actual value) in areas near the border. As of January 28, 2009, the exchange rate is US$1.00=C$1.21.
