So to do this you need to unscrew your ds battery port and 3ds. get a rubber band that is thick once you take the ads battery out you can see the three gold lines match the + to the + port for the DS and middle gold line for the - port. support it with a rubber band and then connect it with the charger it will charge, but it will take a little longer. Once you do this I recommend you to put power save on and put the light as low as possible in order to play as long as possible.
