A valve that is opened and closed using a solenoid (a cylinder pushing a piston that is electrically or hydraulically powered).
The heater valve is located behind the dash above and to the right of the accelerator pedal. The heater core is right beside it. It is operated by a linkage to the slider on the heater control panel.
Check the vacuum operated valve at the hose going to the heater core.
It does not have a heater control valve. It does not have a heater control valve.
Flare copper pipe and use a flared shutoff valve. If valve isn't flared, use an adapter fitting between copper flared pipe and valve.
XV is shutoff valve UV is under control valve
The heater control valve can stick open or closed, as it is operated by an electrical solenoid. Clean old valve, or a new one. Located under bonnet, near bulkhead
This component is electrically operated by the engine computer. It (on most vehicles) changes the oil pressure in the variable valve timing system to adjust the valve timing. It is very similar to the solenoids in use inside an automatic transmission.
The handle that identifies the manual shutoff valve is a red handle and should be visible to the eye
It does not have a water flow valve in the heater plumbing. It does not have a water flow valve in the heater plumbing.
There isn't a fuel shutoff valve.
you could buy a new one ? or call a mechanic ?
Propane tank is empty.Shutoff valve on propane tank is off.Shutoff valve at propane logs is off.Propane regulator is defective.

The valve is usually vacuum-controlled, which is operated by controls on the dash. Purpose: The valve is used help control heater output. Maintenance Tips/Suggestions:Insufficient heat, or heat that cant be turned off may indicate a problem with the heater control valve. Inspect the valve to make sure that its vacuum line is properly connected. If the valve has an external linkage arm, operate the heater controls and watch to see if the valve changes position. If you have any doubts about the valves operation, have the heating system checked by a qualified service professional. http://www.carcare.org/Cooling_System/control_valve.shtml
The heater control valve is used to shut off hot coolant from entering the core when the heater is in the off position. A heater control valve can be actuated by either a vacuum line or a cable from the vacuum heater control valve to the heater core. This hose should be warm; if not the heater control valve is stuck and needs to be replaced
The heater valve is located inside the heater box.
In the yard between the street and the house, in the basement on the wall closest to the street or if on a slab, between the floor and the inlet of the hot water heater. One of these three places.
the water control vale could be broken or have a broken vacuum line to the valve. If it is cable operated valve the cable could be broken or jamed. the heater core could be pluged
Normally I just replace it
No such part on a Caliber.
Where is the the heater control valve??
all cars built after 1991 are required to have a emergancy fuel shutoff.
