Where can you find a parts schematic for the J C Higgins model 36 22 cal. rifle or is there another rifle that is the same model with a different name that is easier to find info for?

your rifle was exclusive Sears product it was manufactured by High Standard wich was owned by Sears in the 50s when your rifle was made parts are readily available from many sorces I have had very good luck with Numrich Gun parts corp. in West Hurley NY.
Several of the aluminum receiver .22 rifles made by High Stadnard will have some parts common to the Model 36
