A few private lawyers may take a case pro bono if they are interested in the subject matter, but they are very rare and they don't advertise free services. Finding one to take a divorce case will be much more difficult; you will need to ask around. It's much easier to find free legal help from an agency that is set up for that purpose. If you can show that you can't afford to hire a private lawyer, you may be able to get help from a legal aid office.

The related link below has a list of legal aid providers in Wisconsin, with links to their websites, arranged by county. The "Statewide" category at the top of the list has links to directories of legal aid providers, where you can search for providers by location and type of case. You will find that many legal aid and volunteer lawyer agencies do not handle divorce cases - but others do. Agency websites may have information about the types of cases they handle, but you may have to contact the agency and ask.

If you don't qualify for legal aid because you make too much money, you may still be able to find a lawyer who will do some work for a reduced fee; try the "Lawyer Referral and Information Services" link in the Statewide category.

Visit your local court and ask if they have a free lawyer of the day program when the public gets to speak with a volunteer attorney. Many court systems have such an arrangement with the local bar association because lawyers are supposed to do some pro bono work. You could also inquire at the court or bar association for any agencies that offer legal help at a reduced rate.

Can people who dont have much money get help if they want to take someone to court?

You want to look for a pro-bono attorney. A large number of paid attorneys volunteer time as a pro-bono attorney. In some jurisdictions it is actually a requirement that they do so by the bar. If you are looking to recover money there are also many attorneys that will take your case without payment as long as they feel that your case is strong. They will then be entitled to a portion of the money that is recovered.

How much is the cost for an immigration attorney and you don't have to much money but you need your husband?

What is the typical lawyers fee on a pro bono case in the state of Tennessee?

"Pro Bono" is short for "pro bono publico", which means "for the public good". It is usually used to describe a lawyer who takes a case for free - so the typical lawyer's fee on a pro bono case is $0. Some lawyers will take a case at a reduced rate (technically, that's not "pro bono") but lawyers fees vary a lot depending on location and type of case, so there is no "typical" lawyer's fee in Tennessee. Most lawyers who do not charge a fee are actually employed by a Legal Aid or Legal Services office (for civil cases), or are assigned counsel under the Indigent Defense Program or work for a Public Defender office (for criminal and some family cases). Links to these offices are at the related link below.

Where Can you find pro bono attorneys in California?

You might be able to find a private attorney in CA who would take a probate case pro bono (i.e., for free) but it's unlikely. The attorney would have to be interested in the case, and such attorneys do not advertise. It's easier to find an attorney to take a case for free by contacting a legal aid office or similar agency. These agencies have attorneys on staff who can represent you for little or no cost, but to qualify you must show that you can't afford to hire an attorney on your own. Eligibility is usually based on your income as a percentage of the Federal poverty guidelines. Different agencies have different criteria, and the do not all handle all types of cases - so whether you can find one to take your case depends on where you live as well as how much you earn. You can find links to such agencies in your area at the related link below. The top of the list contains statewide resources, many of which allow you to search by location and type of case. Or you can scroll down the page to your county to see if there are local agencies. The agency website may tell you what types of cases they handle and how to qualify; if not, it will have a phone number you can call and ask.
