The only listing I have for a Savage 101 is a single shot 22 pistol. That has been out of production for years, but the rear sight is a simple dovetail V notch that a competent gunsmith could fit. If you are asking about a rifle, please check the model number, and check with Customer Service for Savage, and check gunpartscorp website.

Savage 325c rear peep?
If it is complete, with the rear sight, and from your description I place it to be in Fair to Good condition ( It still works) then it is worth around $80
Pull the cover towards the rear sight and lift upwards.
Press upward on the rear sight.

you may be talking about the artillery model or navy model luger. if the rear sight is located just in front of the chamber, it is a artillery model. if there is no rear sight over the chamber it is a navy model. Also, the barrel may have been changed ??? look under the barrel, where it screws in. the should be a set of numbers which match the serial number of the gun. send me a pic and I'll tell you f a artillery or navy model...
Depends on the exact sights used. The most common are a rear notch sight, and a front post. The post should be centered in the rear notch, and the top of the front sight post even with the top of the rear sight. Point of aim is usually the center of the target.
Left side, towards rear of slide.
