First, disconnect your battery, now, if you open the hood, you will find a flexible couplig about half way to the bottom of the column, you can unbolt that, then, sitting inside the car, under the dash you will find a U shaped brace fastenig the column to the underside of the dash, (it usually has 2 bolts, but depending on the model may have 4), then you must detach the wirng plug (for the turnlights and horn, it is close to the U shaped brace). then remove the two screws in the back of the steering wheel which hold the sterering wheel padding, once removed, there is a circular sliding switch which activates the horn at the center of the wheel, be sure to detach the wire fastened to the steering wheel which comes through the steering column.

The ignition switch is attached to the stearing column, below the dashboard. You will need to drop the column, but don't forget to disconnect the little cable that operates the gear indicator first, or it will break when you drop the column and it will not be an easy repair. The switch is held on by two screws and operates from a rod that travels front to back along the steering column, changing the position of the ignition slide switch.
