I dont find any reference to a WesternField Model 35 as a shotgun. The Model 35 rifles were made by Mossberg... If you can send us a digital picture of the gun, we can identify it for you and give you direction on how to mount a scope. repair@countrygunsmith.net
yes, it has a standard 3/8" dovetail mount.
If it has a picatinny rail you should be able to, so yes, I believe you can.
Yes, it is possible.
Go here: <http://www.havlinsales.com/> Click on .22 parts & scroll down 1/4 of the page for MOSSBERG .22 SCOPE MOUNT For models 26B, 26C, 42A, 42B, 42C, 42M, 43, 44US, 46A, 46B and 46M.
Unlikely, but contact havlin Sales through their website. They are the "go-to" company for ANYTHING related to Mossberg- and very nice people to deal with.
You could try out at http://riflescopepro.com. They have a vast range of scopes for every need.
I believe your rifle was made for Montgomery Ward as the Mossberg Mdl 346K. Made from ABOUT 1958-1971, and there was never an "instruction manual". There was an envelope attached to the trigger guard, that held one folded (and very basic) instruction PAGE. The link below will take you to that page.
Introduced in 1952
