In Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold and SoulSilver you can easily catch a wild shiny Gyarados in the Lake of Rage. Alternatively you can catch a wild shiny Gyarados anywhere else with a Super Rod or evolve a shiny Magikarp though both are extremely rare.
Shiny Pokémon are a special type of Pokémon, they basically have a different coloration of what's usual for their species. The term was coined by players and it makes reference to the sparkly effects that accompany the appearance of these characters. They were introduced onward Generation II and their appearance is a rare event, it can't be predicted nor caused, so, in order to get any of these Pokémon one would need to rely in luck.
fish or surf on water but if that doesn't work evolve your magicarp
use a super rod wich u get from a guy at the fight area and go fishing with it at lake acuity . hope this helps! :op
You can catch Gyarados in any water source is Sinnoh But you need a Super rod witch you can get at the Fight area after you defeat the Elite Four.
u cant, the only way is if you have soulsilver/heartgold u have to get it from lake of rage and trade it onto the following games:diamond/platinum/pearl!this is luxlaser signing out!
you can find Gyarados pretty much anywhere with a super rod, or just level up magikarp to level 20
The shiny gyarados can be found north of Mahogany Town , in the center of the Lake of Rage
The lake of rage in gsc or hgss
You find Gligar in Pokemon Platinum at Route 206. You can't FIND IT IN PEARL.
There is no set place to get a red Gyarados. A red Gyarados is what is referred to as a "shiny" Pokemon, which means only that it has a different color scheme than usual. The chance of encountering or breeding a shiny Pokemon is 1 out of 8192. That means that if you catch 8,192 Pokemon, only one of them will be shiny. So, the chances of finding a shiny Gyarados, specifically, are infinitesimally small. Also, SIT DOWN, SHUT UP AND ICUP AND HI!!!!!!
Not a pond as much as a lake. Lake of Rage.
Gyarados is a Water and Flying type Pokemon.
there is no such thing as a hippopotamus in pearl I think the question was supposed to be: "How do you get Hippopotas in Pokemon Pearl?" The answer is: You find it in Maniac Tunnel.
khadels backyard
train it
He has a Gyarados, Quagsire, and a Floatzel
defeat red gyarados.
Same thing it always does: Gyarados.
Level 20.
A red gyarados is a shiny gyarados (however, the Pokemon Company did not call them shiny untill the Unova Region). You can find it wherever you can find a normal gyarados, but your chances to find it are very slim.
In Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow, the only way to get a Gyarados is to find a Magikarp and level it up til level 20. I think. And in Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, where you battle the elite 4, where you use waterfall to get up there. You can find a gyarados in there. Gyrados is level 20. Find a level twenty or twenty one magikarp and level it up by one for Gyrados.
there is no red GYARADOS that you can catch, dont make assumptions. the only way to get a shiny red gyarados is to find a random one and hope that the 1/8192 chance happens
A red gyarados is just a shiny gyarados, it will still take time to accomplish.
No, but somewhere in the game you will fine the TM (I forget where). Use it on him/her.
He has a weavile, gyarados, honchkrow, and a crobat in Diamond and Pearl. In the Distortion World, he has a weavile, houndoom, gyarados, crobat and a honchkrow, not necessarily in that order.
